• Have worked in almost all regions of Emerging Market like – South East Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia and Latin America at leadership level for more than 8 years. Took company valuation to almost 880 MN$ by way of the right business model and identifying the right country-product mix.
• Later on, worked as President Finance and CFO at Claris Lifesciences Ltd. While working as CFO for over 15 plus years, Mr. Purohit was able to raise a fund for the company from the Private Equity Fund and then took the company for IPO and successfully listed the company at BSE and also successfully did M&A for Indian business and sold Indian business to a Japanese company with one of the remarkable multiples of value. Also, later on, sold the USA and Regulated market – the business of Injectable to one of the biggest American Companies at one of the best multiples in the Indian Pharma market. Was one of the key catalysts to building the value of 1 BN$ for the organisation.
